  1. Know How To Spot An Impact-Based Deal: Get familiar with terms like ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), equitable housing, and sustainable builds. Knowing these terms will help you identify genuine opportunities for impact.

  2. Build Your Network: Connect with other women who are also on the lookout for their next impact-based investment opportunity. Meet with women leading these syndications, attend conferences, and expand your network on social media. Being a part of the RISE The Movement community gives you a chance to learn and connect with other women who share your goals.

  3. Prepare To Invest: Private real estate syndication typically offers passive income in the range of 7-10%, with target double-digit returns on investments. Additionally, it allows investors to benefit from tax advantages through depreciation. For RISE, our focus lies on the impact-based REIT space, where you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through your investment. Engaging with a fund manager can assist you in identifying income streams for your investment, and it all begins with a simple phone call. Let's start the conversation, and from there, we'll be delighted to connect you with the right resources.

Millennials Will Have A Better Retirement Than Their Parents

Millennials are on track to be better prepared for retirement than both Boomers and Gen X. This is mostly due to the fact that contributing to a 401(k) plan is now a default contribution at most jobs, as opposed to previous decades when Boomers and Gen X were waiting until later in their careers to begin saving for retirement.

While many millennials are still not able to afford a home, according to Vanguard they are on track to replace 60% of their pre retirement income with Social Security and their retirement savings. The previous generations are on track to replace about half of their pre retirement income. Studies consistently show that each new generation is getting better and better at saving for their retirement.
