Together We RISE: Rewarding Investments through Smart Education

Hello RISE Impact Enthusiasts,

Before sharing this week's Impact Opportunity, where profits meet purpose 🌟, let's keep in mind our collective goal: a world 🌍 where our legacy directly addresses major issues such as climate change, health-care, and gender equality.

The enthusiasm around last week's feature on 3D home printing technology, with its automation capabilities significantly reducing both the cost and carbon footprint of building homes, was truly inspiring.

Writing this newsletter from Santa Barbara, where I'm spending the weekend with my teenage daughter at a volleyball tournament, the need for affordable and efficient housing solutions has never been more apparent to me. This technology represents a major stride towards our shared goal of fostering sustainable, inclusive communities. By leveraging advanced materials and automated construction methods, we're not just looking at a future of reduced environmental impact and lower housing costs, but we're actively moving towards it.

If you would like to learn all the diverse ways to invest in alignment with your values, across all asset classes - I invite you to join our free 3-day Impact Workshop: "Grow Your Wealth, Impact the World".

As a reminder, we maintain a comprehensive database of vetted, exclusive, impactful investments that includes everything from startups to established funds and real estate, spanning all areas of impact. These opportunities vary; some have specific participation qualifications, while others are more accessible. We do this because we all have different levels of savings, communities, and can participate in impact at different levels. Either way, as always, let's share this valuable knowledge of values aligned investing with our loved ones, including our children (it's never too early to start!), friends, and broader community. With that said, let's explore this week’s impactful opportunity.

New Weekly Impact Insight - Feb 17 2024

If your values are centered in women's health, medical technology innovation, and equitable healthcare access, this innovative women's health check business aligns with your commitment to a healthier, more inclusive future.

🌟 Innovative Health Solution Business - Empowering Women's Health Checks đŸŒŸ

📍 Overview: At the heart of this health innovation is a groundbreaking product designed for non-invasive diagnostic testing. It enables women to easily collect menstrual blood samples at home, facilitating regular health screenings and early detection of seven critical biomarkers. This product offers vital insights into health indicators like pre-diabetes and diabetes, thyroid disorders, anemia, chronic inflammation, and key women's hormonal levels affecting fertility and perimenopause.

♻ Impact: This product stands out especially in areas where access to conventional healthcare is challenging or cultural barriers prevent seeking out testing. The company's approach aligns with the global shift towards preventive healthcare and is set to capture a growing market as the awareness and accessibility of women's health services increase.

💰 Funding Requirements: The company is currently valued at $50 million, expected to rise to $65 million shortly. The minimum investment required is lower. Please remember in 2021 Everywell was valued at 2.9 billion. Also, click the listing for the company name, participation details, and additional financials. This is a SEC requirement that we understand who we are inviting to participate in investing. Note, we will discuss this at our Inner circle virtual meeting in April.

📈 Market Focus: This company is a pioneer, having achieved the first FDA clearance for its menstrual blood health test, opening new avenues in women's health. It has received FDA clearance for Over The Counter sales in the U.S. in Dec 2023 and approval in Thailand in Feb 2023.

đŸ‘©â€đŸ’Œ Leadership: The company is led by a founder with a rich background in both the medical and entrepreneurial fields, bringing valuable expertise to the forefront of women's health innovation.

🚀 Future Goals: The company plans to generate revenue through direct-to-consumer sales in the U.S., physician-prescribed screenings, and international distribution.

💡 Educational Insights: Given the popularity of home pregnancy tests and other home health monitoring tools, there's potential for high demand for this self-testing solution among women. The challenge lies in navigating international markets and adhering to various local regulations. The company has established a strong scientific foundation, with four peer-reviewed clinical studies with Stanford Medical School, clinical trials in partnership with Harvard Medical School, and collaborations with leading women’s health organizations.

TEACHING IMPACT FINANCE

Empowering Future Generations: Teaching Kids the Value of Impact Investing

Start with the Basics

Begin by explaining money and investments in simple terms. Use examples they can understand, like saving their allowance to buy something they really want, but with a twist—how their savings can also help make the world a better place.

Relate to Their Interests

Connect the idea of impact investing to things they already care about. If they love animals, talk about investments in wildlife conservation. If they're passionate about the ocean, discuss efforts to clean up marine environments. Making it relevant to their interests helps them grasp the importance of investing in causes they feel strongly about.

Use Stories and Examples

Children love stories, and real-life examples of impact investing can be both educational and inspiring. Share stories about companies or projects that have made a significant difference in areas like renewable energy, clean water, or education. Highlight how these investments have improved lives and environments. As an example, share with them how a water & sanitation fund with a historical 11% IRR can provide a funding source for others to bring clean water and sanitation - we featured an example of this. Please share this.

Lead by Example

Children learn a lot by observation. Share your own experiences with impact investing, including the decisions you make and why you make them. Let them see how you evaluate the potential impact of your investments and how you balance financial returns with social and environmental outcomes.

Future-Oriented Thinking

Discuss the long-term view of impact investing—how it's about creating a better world for future generations. Encourage them to think about the kind of world they want to live in and how their actions, including financial ones, can contribute to that vision.

Celebrate Successes

When investments have a positive outcome, share that success with your kids. Celebrate the achievements of projects or companies you've invested in to show them that their efforts and choices can lead to meaningful change.

By incorporating these approaches, we can teach our children the value of impact investing, not just as a financial strategy but as a way of life that prioritizes the well-being of our planet and its inhabitants. Through our guidance, they can grow to become thoughtful, informed, and compassionate investors.

*Please, it is never too early to share these differentiations with others so we are all educated together allowing us all to have an investor mindset.
