Julie Gorte, Ph.D., is the Senior Vice President for Sustainable Investing at Impax Asset Management LLC, where she leads ESG-related research and shareholder and public policy advocacy. 

As a key member of the Impax Gender Analytics team, she was a major contributor to the launch of the Pax Global Women’s Leadership Index, promoting women's leadership in business. Her diverse roles in impact investing and sustainability include serving on the boards of the Endangered Species Coalition, E4theFuture, Clean Production Action, and chairing the Sustainable Investments Institute.

Data indicates that Americans save an average of 24% with Black Friday deals. Last year, online shoppers spent more than $9.1 billion during the Thanksgiving weekend. This year's figures are expected to surpass that, with stores like Macy's and JCPenney offering up to 60% off, while fan favorites Amazon, Target, and Walmart average around 30% off in discounts.
